Sumbawa is an easily accessible Indonesian island next to Lombok and Bali. Although Sumbawa is rich with astonishing landmarks and available activities, its fame among tourists is based primarily on whale sharks.
Harmless giants, the whale sharks are 3-6 times taller than humans. The only potential danger from these rare creatures is their ability to accelerate by using their strong tails, inducing turbulent underwater currents. Thus, a 3m distance from whale sharks is strongly recommended to be maintained. With some experience, you can learn to get closer to them and explore their peaceful character.
This tour starts with a complimentary trip to Mojo Island, an exotic wonderland with special terrain and flora, and famous sites like Mata Jitu, a legendary cascade waterfall of unbelievable purity, and Princess Diana's Pool.
After Mojo Island trip and a good dinner, we will have some rest, proceed to Saleh Bay and take a boat to whale sharks' habitat. Sunrise is a wonderful time to meet them and snorkel in the midst of their feeding area.
Underwater shooting and filming will be provided to capture the moments of this intimacy.
Back at the hotel around noon, we will have half a day to explore the main city of Sumbawa and have a good rest before the morning flight.
The tour can be extended to 3 and 4 days to immerse deeper into Sumbawa wibes, jungle, and white sand beaches.
