Abang Sanctuary
The most scenic trail in Bali, Abang (2154m) is covered with surreal mossy forest that looks like a fantasy. It's a medium hike suitable for beginners in shape.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Nature Untouched
The enchanting Abang Reserve is covered with green mossy trees up to the very top. The ascent takes about 4 hours and is available for children 12+. This route is undoubtedly the most beautiful in Bali. Along the way, there will be unforgettable viewing platforms overlooking the caldera with the largest lake on the island and, of course, a Balinese Temple at the top.
Exotic destination, with wildlife. A place almost untouched by people. Magic fairytale forest overgrown with moss. The only place in Bali where you can meet deer in the wild.
The reserve is located between mt. Batur and mt. Agung.

Shared transfer from Canggu (5:30) and Ubud (6:30)
Hiking: 8:00-13:00 (the first hour is hard, then 3 hours easy and beautiful, then 1 hour medium and stunning)

Take a bottle of water, your fafourite treats and snacks, and be packed in warm waterproof clothes. The summit is often cloudy.
The adventure starts at 7am. The journey to the top of Abang is an easy forest trail with medium slope, and lasts around 4 hours. We will have a light meal with hot tea/coffee on the summit. The way back down takes around 3-4 hours.
